Former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson married multiple times and his personal life has been widely documented. The inside story of his marriages, ex-wives, and their relationships with the enigmatic boxing legend.
Starring Robin Givens: The Sordid Marriage
Tyson married actress Robin Givens, seen in the popular sitcom "Head of the Class," in February 1988. But the marriage was brief, and Givens referred to it as "torture, pure hell" in a 20/20 interview with Barbara Walters. The marriage ended in divorce in 1989, with Givens alleging spousal abuse and mental instability on Tyson's part.
Monica Turner
Tyson, who was raised Christian as a child, converted to Islam in the 1990s and married pediatrician Monica Turner, a Muslim, in a private Muslim ceremony in April 1997. They had two children together but his marriage with her ended in 2003 with him cheating on her and also spending money recklessly. Turner maintained her marriage to Tyson during his incarceration by regularly visiting him. She has kept the lowest of profiles ever since, going back to work as a doctor in Bethesda, Maryland.
Lakiha Spicer: Three Time a Charmer
In 2009 Tyson married for the third time to Lakiha "Kiki" Spicer. The pair shares two children. The pair have remained a solid presence in each other's lives over time, and the mother-of-two has been open about her everlasting love for the former heavyweight world champion in interviews.
