How to make Bacon Cheeseburger Dip in a Slow Cooker

UPDATED: Mikey made a video to show you how easy this dish is to whip up!

Aunt Lou here.

We had a couple of stops on New Year’s Eve, so we were late to the friend’s house where we have rang in every New Year’s of our relationship. Over half of the crew inside was around the dining room table laughing hysterically while playing a game. The food had been picked over pretty good. I was afraid we had arrived too late for my dip to get much attention, but set it up anyway.

First one, then another got some of this Bacon Cheeseburger Crock Pot Dip. “What is this?!” followed by “This is awesome!” This went on for the rest of the evening as people snacked on all the goodies.

Everyone was asking for the recipe. Isn’t that the reaction we all want when we bring something to a pitch-in? So I am glad to share with you this incredibly easy and oh so delicious Bacon Cheeseburger Crock Pot Dip recipe! It would be great for your upcoming game-day party!

Serving This Dip with Low Carb Dippers

Many party dips are low carb, however the chips and crackers they are served with are not. Below are some options for low carb dippers to enjoy crock pot dips while maintaining your low carb lifestyle.

  • Protein Chips
  • Parmesan Crisps
  • Pork Rinds
  • Crisp Bacon Pieces (We useour Air Fryer Bacon)
  • Low Carb Veggie Tray (Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Celery, etc.)
  • Crispy Pepperoni Chips

  • We like to use a micro-cooker to brown up our meat quickly. It is so quick and easy!
  • This recipe cooks nicely in a 2-quart crock pot (3 pot buffet slow cookers are great for party recipes like this!) or you could double the recipe for bigger slow cookers.

Good morning, could you heat it on the oven instead of using a crockpot? I’ve done the crockpot version which is great but no room for an extra crockpot where I’m taking it this year!
    Thanks

I haven’t tried this recipe in the oven. If I couldn’t make it in the crock pot, I would probably make it in a pot on the stove. After everything is well blended, I would turn the heat down to the lowest it could go and let it cook for around 30 minutes or so, stirring as often as needed. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

This is a delicious dip, but I doubled the batch and made it for my family as a meal and served over Tostitos chips. I’ll be making it again! It’s just too easy!!!!
